Our furniture build and finish is covered for one year (365 days) starting on delivery date.
Unlike press board or laminate we use only hardwood that has been acclimated and dried to best suit you. Since it is hardwood you can expect seasonal movement in the wood (expanding and contracting in different climates) If you have bread board ends in the winter they may seem to "hang over" your table and that's totally normal! That means the table is shrinking because its much colder. If our bread boards didn't allow that wood to move it would result in a split or a total top failure.
That beautiful slab sure is nice but surprisingly its still going to move throughout the seasons and weather changes. You may experience a slight cup when things get cooler or warmer. If you are cupping more than 1/2 across the width of the slab, we will address that warrantee at that point. Anything below will be aconsidered a normal slab acclamation process. You may also notice small checks or cracks appearing during extreme conditions. Its expected for and slab to develop these. Any check over 3" long and up to 3/16" wide will be covered and we will repair as needed!
We only use two types of finishes.
Oil finish gives you more of a natural look but it does have a maintance schedule to keep your luster that can be performed by you or someone from our team.
We also use a commercial spray on finish called conversion varnish which has more of a "finished feel" and is much more dense.
Both finishes have a year warranty from the date of completion. With either finish you will still see average "wear and tear" (knife marks, dings and dents) But if properly maintained and cared for you will not see any water marks or hot plate marks!
It is recommend to only use proper cleaning supplies and ask us how to regularly maintain your furniture!
